I already tried Medford Auto Wreckers - they were really close to my workplace but they said they couldn't take that component out.
It's the rubber skirting that is on your door frame and touches the window - basically cheap way to waterproof the window edges I guess.

No, what I really need is someone with hands-on experience with repairing their Volvos so that I could learn from them. I'm afraid to do things myself because it's not like a computer where even in the worst situation - you can just format it and be up and running. I don't want a 2 ton hunk of metal in my driveway.

So anyone?
