Hey,

Thanks for the assistance with the tune-ups!
About work done on the car - that's a very tragic story...

In october, I paid $3000+ to get a new transmission (WORST decision - please don't make me feel worse about it) ...

I recently had the brake pads and rotors changed/fixed/something for ~$400. Apparently I should be getting my calipers fixed too but that's another $300 and I'm really not sure if I should believe these people.

My starter went out one fine day, and had to get the car towed 40 miles and have it fixed for another $200+ (I'm sure I overpaid, but again - what did I know??). Turns out my neutral safety switch was causing some kind of short, and had to be replaced.

Also just put in a new battery for $140 (I was in an emergency).

I just want someone to help me replace the speedo and maybe help me learn how to tune up my car (for gas mileage, longetivity)...
