1982 240 k-jet what to look for? 200

Going to look at an '82 244 with 208k on it. it was taken off the road last summer. The owner started it periodically until about a month ago it would'nt start. I've owned an '84 and a '85 245's, and am a little reluctant about the k-jet. Is it a good system, easy to troubleshoot? What are the trouble spots? I can pick up the car for $100, the interior is mint, and the body has very little rust, pretty rare in Massachusetts for a '82.
