Too Much Oil? 200

I recently had my timing belt and front seals changed by a local indy shop. I supplied the parts including an oil filter and oil to be changed when he completed the job. I had an extra quart of oil in the trunk for emergencies in a box separate from the required four quarts and filter for the change. The mechanic used all of the oil (5 quarts) and I drove about 250 miles before I checked the trunk and figured things out. I drained the extra quart out of the crankcase and things seem to be fine. Could I have done any damage?
