AMM Question 700

Let me run this down for you guys...... I spent some time today to clean some things up on my 780 engine. I decide to clean the turbo lines like i read in the faq. i disconected all boost lines and put them in water and simple green. I cleaned the IAC and its hoses. I disconected the AMM and checked the air filter. now...i started the car it ran to 2000 then settled at 1500. now when i start it it goes to 1500 and sits there, i disconnect the AMM plug and it slows stumbles then i plug it back in it runs normal. Also if I start it and I disconnect the IAC the idle becomes normal, and if I plug it back in it stays normal. But EVERY time I start the car it does this. Im fixing it every time I start it. What did I do, the iac is plugged in all lines connected up correctly. Now the IAC did get some scratches on it, but would it cause this problem?
