I forgot how great the 164 was 140-160

until I drove it to have safety inspection and emission testing done. The guy who tested it loved it. My daughter was rear-ended in the '71 164 5 1/2 years ago (a lady hit her at about 35 mph while my daughter was stopped at a red light). I had to replace evrything behind the rear doors except the trunk deck. Rocker panels were rusted, so they were replaced, too. I had to learn to weld and some other skills and could only spend a little every once-in-a-while. It took a long time, but was worth it. Anyhow, it's so smooth, so quick and stable it's amazing. It's my favorite in our family of old Volvos -'66 122; 67 122; '71 142; '79 244. 'love it

My daughter wants to have at it. Right now I figure the devil has a better chance of needing a snow-thrower first.
