S90 PNP switch S90-V90

Group:
I have a 113 code set which turns on the CE light and I cannot keep it turned off by disconnecting the battery.

It happened several weeks ago when one morning the trans was in the winter mode regardless of the push buttons. Trans got OK within a few miles.

Had to take it to a dealer and pay $115 to get the diagnosis.
They will deduct that from the $575 estimate for the repair job.
I forgot to ask what the part costs. Grrrrr!

Since the engine and trans work perfectly, and it won't go thru inspection with the CE light on, what should I do?
Just drive it in the hope it gets better before inspection?
Spray the area with something? I have the electrical wiring book showing the switch on the right side of the trans.
Since the trans works OK, doesn't it sound like the problem is electrical?
What exactly is the switch thinking is wrong?
Anyone know what that pnp switch costs?
Since my local indy shop has never done the job before, are special tools needed?

Any other advice? I have three months to get it fixed.

Thanks,
S'V'
