Hi everyone..

Yesterday my car, while it shifted into gear perfectly, would not reverse or drive without much acceleration.

When i checked my tranny fluid (which was supposed to be checked when i took it to my mech. last week) it was totally empty. Two months ago when i checked it it was also totally dry.

I put fluid in and it ran normally..

Do i have a slow leak? Is my tranny going.. going.. gone? Did i ruin my tranny??

How much would a new tranny cost? or a leak repair?

I have a 1989 740 gl wagon and i love it with all my heart..

It's in the shop right now but i can't concentrate all day at work w/o some advice...
