just a little conformation....idle problem 700 1988

My 740 tic has been idling poorly. After cleaning the TB, then the IAC, checking all electricals, an other gremlins, I tried spraying some butane (lighter refill fluid) around the intake manifold and 'jector seals. There was a significant rise in idle, then back down to normal. It accelerates fine, runs smooth at driving speed, its just at idle it blops along. Before the TB cleaning it was high, now it's at a steady 800 - 1000 rpms, it just sounds/feels rough.

The butane test pretty much tells me to replace the intake gasket and the injector seals, correct?

Thanks for any input.
