Dead Heat... 120-130 1967

Hello All:

1967 Volvo 122S Wagon. Lots of fixing going on lately. Something new cropped up - my heater fan does not turn on. Once I solved my battery problem I hoped the problem would go away, but to no avail.

Ever since I have had the car, when you turn on the fan to either high or low, you would hear a squealing/squeeking sound. The sound went away after a while until recently. Now it just does not turn on at all. Is there a belt of some kind? I have never opened up the heater unit on this or any other car before. What should I look for?

Thanks, as always, for your sage advice.

Cheers,

Jeff Pucillo
