Need advice please! 1978 244

A '78 B21 uses a valve cover that has a vent, and the flame trap is located in that hose coming off the valve cover. The B23 has a breather box on the side of the block (near the starter, under the intake manifold) and the flame trap is down there. So you've got some plumbing to sort out with respect to the PCV system.

A B23F used LH-jet fuel injection, which had fuel injectors in the intake manifold. '78 has K-jet with injectors in the head. You need a k-jet head, or else you have to drill and tap holes to mount the k-jet injectors in the currently blank bosses on the B23F head.

Yes, the block has the same bolt pattern for the bell housing. No problems there.
