Intake Torque 700

Hello Baker:

Given that the placement of about half of the intake manifold nuts precludes the use of a torque wrench, you will probably want to go with "snug + a bit more". I've just been through this with my '92 245. You just need to pull the intake back enough to get the old gasket out and the new one in.

You may want to consider cleaning your oil separator box and replace your coolant temp sensor while the manifold is off, though. Get the o-ring for the bottom of the box from the dealer first.

Good luck!
