clutch problem 700 1986

Hi All,

I haven't been here in a while, which I suppose is a good thing...I lent my 1986 760 turbo to a friend who, by the way, raved about the performance and handling of the car. One day, while he was driving it, the clutch went out. The thing is, the entire clutch system was replaced in August of 2004. Except for the master cylinder, apparently. Well, having this in mind, I removed the master cylinder and found that the spring was broken into three pieces. Woo hoo! I found the problem, I thought. But, after I replaced the master cylinder, the pedal returned properly, but there still was no pressure to the clutch.
I looked under the car and saw a large puddle of fluid dripping from a hole in the left side frame. So what I'm assuming is, since the clutch and brake both share the same reservoir, that there is a leak in the brake system in the area of the leak. The thing that baffles me is that the brake pressure seems fine. As I said, the entire clutch system has been replaced, including the slave cylinder. There are no fluid leaks (that I can see) in the area of any of the major clutch components. Help?
