Draining the Gas Tank on a 86 245DL 200

Hello All,

Inga, 1986 245DL with 200K Miles

Getting Ready to break Inga out of mothballs and but her back on the Road. She had a "did not start" issue and since I did not need her at the time, rolled her into the garage and left her there. It has been 2 1/2 years so I a pretty sure the gas is bad. So it's time to drop her and drain her (the gas tank that is). Then I will go after the did not start issue. The fuel pumps were not running. But before I address that, thought some decent fuel might help uncloud the issue when I did the jumper test on the fuse panel.

Any tricks, warnings, tips, or sage advise?

Thanks in advance for your help!
