Help Regina issues, Air temp sensor? 900 1993

Engine died while driving yesterday. The code that I am geting is Air temp sensor. I checked the resistance on it is about 7.44k at about 40F and changes with warm air. The car will start from time to time reach about 700rpm and die. No effect by pressing the gas. All other usual suspects are fine, relays, fuel pump turns on ect. Bad ECU?
