Thanks again for the suggestion. I am planning on picking one up for test purposes but as you say I don't really expect it to be the answer. I like having an extra one around though as a spare. There are no pick and pulls around me so I've been browsing Ebay. Seems like I can pick one up around the $30 price range you mention which is pretty reasonable for the peice of mind.
