? on the gently hit 944, cruise spring reload.... 900 1993

Still haven't gotten the car home yet, picking up Sat at 10:30 AM. It's still registered so the owners son is driving it to my house for me. After i started the car at their house i noticed the kickdown cable pin was not in the throttle body pulley slot where it belonged, could'nt get it in the slot so i pulled the "C" clip off the end of the shaft to get enough room to get it back in. The outer pulley, i believe, is the cruise control pulley. When I pulled it off a spring came flying off, found it but could not figure out how to get it reloaded. Anyone have any idea how to get that spring back in there to operate correctly. Outer pulley seems to be cruise relatd, middle pulley goes to gas pedal and inner pulley goes to kickdown cable...TIA.Tom Wasney 27940aholic
