Heater blower only works on high? 700

The wife's 92 745 Turbo heater blower only work on high. Looked at the Faq's and it looks like it could be the resistor pack that failed. Looked at a few of the "after market" parts places but none of them seem to list this as an available part? Contacted my local Volvo dealer. They have one in stock but I just about fell off my seat when I heard the price they want for this!!! Is there any way to repair this or does anyone have a used resistor pack they want to sell me? I may get lucky and find one in a junk yard but really don't want to spend most of a day looking for one...
