SAE fittings on 1966 122s? 120-130

I'm diving in on some work on a 1966 Volvo 122s. I'm new to it. Presently I'm replacing rear brake cylinders and shoes. Everything is rusted badly, so I'm taking it slowly. In a previous post I inquired as to to the size of fitting that attaches the brake line to the cylinder and was told that it was a 3/8" nut. Also I learned that the axle thread is 7/8".

My question is, how much of the hardware on this model are SAE fittings (nuts, bolts, etc.)? I would have thought it would have been metric (mm) throughout.
