Knocking 200

Contrary to what you may hear, I don't believe you can test this type of knock sensor by banging on the engine w/ a wrench and observing if the timing changes

That worked on our '83, is the later model different? This car also had a knocking problem that no one seemed to be able to fix. Since I plugged the vacuum line to the ICU, there's been no problem (Volvo/Chrysler ignition). Doesn't apply to the later model, either, I'm afraid.
