I Lash... 120-130 1967

I guess the point I was trying to make is that I attribute the cracked exhaust
valve faces to insufficient valve lash - set at 0.018" and driven pretty long
and hard. I don't attribute it to anything but lack of seat pressure brought
on by the lash closing up due to thermal expansion, NOT duration.
My theory is that the 11/32" valve stems in the B18 conduct heat better than
the 5/16" valve stems in later engines and that's why the B18 specs call for
a smaller lash.
