Strange Alignment problem, 200 1991

With regard to the rattle, did you verify that the strut inserts set correctly on the spacer bushing in the bottom of the strut tube? More importantly, are you sure that one of those bushings didn't get pulled out with the old insert? You say you've done this before, I'm guessing this is a dumb question.
