question about 16(A) fuse 200 1992

I was swapping out the fuses in my sister's 92 244 today, and noticed that while most fuses had the A following the numerical value, some did not. I was particulary interested to know whether or not I should use a straight 16 fuse on the fuel pump(fuse #6), or should I stay with the 16A that is stated on the fuse cover? Thank you one and all :)
