On red engine: 1' piece of cake S90-V90 1998

In my experience, on the red engine removing oil plug with a 25 mm socket can be very difficult, whereas a 1" socket makes the removal of the oil plug a piece of cake. Been there, done that. Obviously, the plug was designed for the North American market, causing big problems for us Europeans, living in metric land. How about other engines/car makes?

Why aren“t all these plugs "stamped" with the appropriate socket size? Would make life much easier for a world of people!

Cheers!
