Hi George,

There is a right angle edge there, no dip. I'll check on the block and head numbers tonight when I start the strip down of the block. I do recall that after the 49 there is a 69 cast into the block. It is difficult to tell if the parts all came out of the same car, but I'm assuming they did based on the rather even coat of oil and dirt on the entire assembly.
