ipd overload coils for a 140 140-160

Hi, Does anyone have experience with the ipd overload coils on their 142? Also, I see they have them for the 140 and the 145's. I am assuming that the wagon springs are stiffer than the sedans, would it be wise/unwise to use the wagon springs in a sedan?
I dislike soft springs and don't mind a stiff ride. I know that the sedan springs should be plenty, I just can't help wondering if stiffer is better, even if it is just a theoretical question here. Other than the stiffer spring/harder ride what are some of the other trade off's positive/negative?
Thanks.
