1990 760 gle strut mount bearing id problem 700

I've just received a new strut mount bearing from a supplier here in the uk,for my my 760 1990 gle station wagon
The company I got the part from are good, but some of their staff aren't all that knowledgeable!
The bearing does look very different to the one I remember, when I changed the strut inserts recently(traced a clunking problem to the strut bearing afterwards)
New bearing number is ,Volvo 3530341,other numbers f-210061
Is this difference in appearance due to changes in bearing design, or is it the wrong part.
The bearing matches the photograph on many parts sites, which leads me to believe it is correct, but I don't want to strip the car down and find it isn't!
Presuming they have sent me the right part, can anyone give me guidance on the correct way to fit the bearing,i.e. which way up.

cheers
