Bonded brake linings? 444-544

Things are starting to come together for repairing my brakes. I found a rebuild kit for the passenger side cylinder locally, as well as new upper springs. However, when inspecting the driver sider assembly, I discovered that the lining has come un-bonded from the shoe (the one with the self-adjusting thing). Can I just go to a local auto parts store and ask for a brake bonding agent, or is this some sort of special product that is hard to come by?

(I am sure this is kind of a silly question, and I appreciate your patience with me. I am used to working on 1990-and-newer Japanese cars, most of which use disc brakes, so some of this stuff is very new to me.)
