brake master cylinder leak 200

"There is another failure mode of the master cylinder - that is that
it starts sucking brake fluid into the booster through the rear seal,
and that happens with little warning until your rear reservoir is empty."

I found this "" while trying to figure out if I wanted to replace the master cylinder today. The problem has been a leak where it connects to body and the brake booster (?). A couple winters ago I tightened the two bolts where it connects and it quit. It usually starts up a little in the winter on the cold cold stretches. This year it has just kept leaking. I've tried loosening a bit and then tightening. I thought that I'd need to relplace a seal or something but I haven't seen any offered on the web. Any ideas to get around replacing what is a working master cylinder.
