intermittant no start 700

My daughters 90 740 has had several no starts lately. It turns over, is getting fuel. Jump start does no good. Eventually it starts but of course is flooded. runs fine for undetermined days...then wont start.
I read the FAQ's about grounding, rpm sensor, etc. Her car is several hours away so I would like to have a game plan before I go to try and fix something that probably wont be a problem when I get there.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
