No start - right after battery change 700

Well, I got the front end aligned last week, and my battery died. Jumpstarted it and went right across the street to the AdvanceAutoParts and bought a 700 CCA battery which went right in. Sat down to crank the car and it would not start. Began checking fuses. All good. Thought the fuel pump relay might be the issue, but I hear the pump whirring after each attempt. Checked for spark, have it. Checked for fuel spray from injectors, have it. However, there is no gas getting to the plugs for some strange reason. I sprayed starting fluid the intake side and it starts just long enough to let me know that the engine is not dead and shuts back down, and no matter how much gas I give it from that starting fluid boost o it shuts down about two seconds after starting. I'm at a loss. Haven't had an opportunity to check the distributor, and I am hoping it's not that, because I really don't have the $200 bucks for a replacement. Any ideas, or anything else I should check that I haven't?
