shops in the Washington DC area 200 1993

I have a lovely 240 Sedan named Erik (178,000 give or take). He and I have just moved to Washington DC and he has not been behaving well since the move. Odometer is 'sticking', turn signals keep blowing, engine sounds more like a canning factory than usual.

I need to find a reputable shop in the area that will give the old boy a tune up and a look at the mess behind the dashboard. I need (want) to know if it is the beginning of the end or if a bit of work would keep in with me for a couple more years. I found "Scott's Specialties" in Rockville MD and Dan Beyer Volvo in VA. There is a super garage in Georgetown (Lukoil) but I'm wondering if I should go to a shop that does only Volvos. Anyone have reviews or recommendations? I look like someone who knows nothing about cars (and I don't) so I'm concerned about being taken for a ride.

Thanks!
