Hi Here is the problem. I have a 1987 740 bought 6 months ago, engine transplant and rewired by a mechanic friend. Just recently the right headlight is dim and when the high nbeams are turned on, the engine quits!! Headlight was replaced, but smae problem with new light. Any suggestions as to where the problem might be??? Our mechanic friend is out of town and would like to try to fix this myself if it is not too complicated. Thanks
