Wow, this is a wtf if I ever had one:

There is a junkyard that I visited last weekend for a 240 seat. So I find out they have a website http://www.horseheadspickapart.com/ and they have weekly specials. The one for this weekend is: "ANY TRANSMISSION ONLY $35.00"! It's of course a pick and pull, and only with exchange.

Anyone have trashed transmissions in the southern NY area? Actually, I know a guy with a 740 that runs but the tranny is crapped on it. This yard only has 240's, but there was a newer model in the yard. 240's came with the same trans as 740's, right?

I might mention that the high temps for around here this weekend will be below freezing, with negative indexes, but that adds to the fun!
