Follow up on my request for Help on 1990 Volvo 240DL

Damn another nice solid California car going to the crusher. How pathetic that the program even exists.

I know these programs exist to keep severe polluters off the road (so the big power companies can pollute more, and avoid making expensive upgrades to their plants).

I can't see the benefit of removing one of the cars that was recently rated as being one of the cleanest cars, later in life, along with Honda and a few Toyota models.

Oh well, I guess you have to make your own decisions... Enjoy your new Kia.
