Follow up on my request for Help on 1990 Volvo 240DL

That's a damn shame, on about 3 or 4 different levels. Number one, that there isn't a mechanic competent enough to fix that baby. Number two, like Aye Roll states, there are fewer and fewer rust free ones ( mine is now starting to get the rust monster, waaaa) for us on the right hand coast. Number three, these cars are so simple, that you could, and should, fix it yourself with a copy of the Bentley manual a DVOM and a few hand tools. Number four, I would never let a mechanical device kick my butt. I am ornery and stubborn, and admit it. From a quick glance at your previous posted problem, a good used ECU may solve that one.
