The new one is actually on my 264. It has a b21 engine in it and now that you mentioned it, I believe my mechanic did say something about it being bypassed. On the 164, it buzzes, stops and comes back on after the car starts but it is quiet. The one on the 264 is pretty loud and it is very noticeable inside the car
