Stalling when cold 900 1996

I am still baffling the repair shop's in the Portland area with my 1996 960's stalling problem. That is; starts fine, runs great for about 30 seconds, the will stall (dangeriously) until the engine comes 100% up to temperature. I have been spendig money on this problem since of last year. Here what has been done:

1. Scaned computer-no codes
2.Smoke check for vacumm leaks-none found
3. New plugs-no change
4.Checked fuel pressure-within spec
5.Cleaned MAF senor-pattern OK
6.Tested airflow meter-OK
7.Complete fuel control system tune up
8.Checked cam timing
9.Changed cooling system temperature sender
10. Asked about the Oxygen Sensor, they said it did not have anything to do with this issue.

I like this car alot, but with only 82,500 miles it seems it is coming apart. The problem listed above, a new head gasket leak (that sould be good for a few bucks), the car will not shift out of park without using the override button, the AC shuts down when you pull a grade and even the "Premium" radio FM has shot craps. This is my wife's car and she has been good about not complaining, but she is getting to her limit. So, the larger question is whether to off this ride and move on or to pay the man $3500 to get it back on the road.

P.S. I am trying not to whine
