carb options for B20

What do people think is the better carb setup on a B20 engine; a weber downdraft or rebuilt HIF6 SU's. I've had the weber on the car for about 2 years and have had a few problems. Chronic plug fouling, stalling, and rough idle when cold. I probably won't be rebuilding the engine at least until the fall (comp. 135,125,135,137), and would hope my tinkering with the engine will be kept to a minimum until then. Thanks for the input!
