Sorry about the delay in getting back to you on this.

The adapter is 1/2" thick a and the master cylinder is 6 1/4" long for a total of 6 3/4". I imagine the '67 - '69 dual circuit MC is also 6 1/4" and would eliminate the need for the adapter.

As for the 626 MC, I have no idea. I had bookmarked a page with a remote master cylinder apapter at one poiint, but when I went to look for it just now, the page is gone. It was a hot rod supply place, so I imagine you could hunt one down without too much trouble.
