What Uncle Olaf put in it is best if they are in good shape. The downdraft is
a copout for those who aren't willing to learn how to fix the SUs. The SUs
perform a little better too, I think. They need new seals every 10 years or so. Also occasional float valves and adjustment but when adjusted right,
they work very well.
