Stupid questions about 940 driveability

BTW, this is a good point-I haven't had the CE light on for the whole time. I think the FAQ's mention that the CE light comes on with the 231 code, but some of the posts I reviewed mentioned that it's not always the case. And after I get the fuel pressure regulator on, I plan to check all of the vacuum hoses.
