checking the crank sensor 900

92 960

how would i check if my crank sensor is sending a signal?? i checked the codes and its sayin that my crank sensor is faulty. however i just replaced this, so im guessing it might be the wiring. it has been having some trouble starting for the last month or two. sometimes it will start right up sometimes i have to crank it a few times for it to start. about a week ago, it got real cold out overnight. the next day, it took maybe 10 minutes to finally get it started. now my car wont start. any suggestions and help would be GREATLY appreciated

thanks jason
