an afternoon spent at the junkyard 200

I found a 93 240 (black 5sp wagon with 2 virgo rims left) at the local junkyard and proceeded to take its front seats and right tailight for my 88. I'm a junkyard rookie, but I had a blast doing this and want to find other yards in Mass/NH.

The seats have a couple cig burns but they have far more support than the original ones, were an easy swap, and I'm hoping the heated seat will start working.

Related to that, when the seat heater fails, is it most commonly the switch, heating source, or the pad under the seat? (Only the passenger switch lights up) Also, in the course of taking the seats out of the 93, I noticed a bosch part directly under each front seat, does this power the htd seat and is it most likely have failed when the heater stops working?

The 93 had a tach which the guy wouldn't sell me separately from the instrument cluster. Were the tach's standard in 93 and could I use this to replace my clock?

cheers!
