Tranny Cooler Line Repair 200 1993

Hello All,

Having done a tranny cooler line repair once on the 90 244, since gone, I unfortunately have to do it again cause the line on the 93 has sprung that typical pinhole leak at the double bracket.

The question I have is how do I keep the mess down. The last time I used a hacksaw to cut the culprit section out. This time, I will purchase a mini tubing cutter so as to hopefully remove the offending section quicker, but I'd like to reduce the volume of fluid dripping all over me.

BTW, I wrapped both cooler lines with a few turns of electrical tape about 2 years ago (before any leaking) but the vibration still managed to cause a leak.

Got any ideas? Thanks in advance as you guys are always very helpful.
