Yakima vs. Thule rain gutter roof rack systems? 900

I have a 94 965 and a 96 960 and I'm interested in either the Yakima 1a raingutter mount roof rack or the Thule 300 raingutter mount system to carry the Thule (Sears 20-sv cargo carrrier). My 965 has a roof rack but is very flimsy even after installing new well nuts and tightening all screws. Each brand has a raingutter mounted sytem that can be used on both cars. I wanted to know if anyone has compared up close or used these brands to steer me to the best. Each brand has a good reputation, but after looking online the Yakima looks better made. The Thule utilizes a square crossbar while the Yakima utilizes a round cross bar. I'll have to look at the mounts for the Thule (sears) cargo carrier to see if it will work with the Yakima round cross bars. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Chip
