85' 240 stalling 200

My 85' 240 is having a problem with intermittent stalling. About once a day the car starts sputtering and then stalls. You can pull over and restart it and all is good until the next time it happens(about once a day) I'm thinking maybe a fuel system problem because about a month ago my duaghter ran it out of gas and we had to replace the in tank fuel pump and screen as well as the main fuel filter under the car. Could we have some crud in the fuel line perhaps? If this is the case is there an easy way to bleed the fuel system of the obstruction? Thanks for any help.
