Chinese or Scan-Tech U-joints?? Bearings from Turkey?? 700 1986

I'm refurbishing a drive shaft prior to converting the 86 745's transmission from the ZF (German) to an AW71 (japanese).
I have a choice of either Scan-Tech u-joints (without a grease fitting) or Chinese made aftermarket (but with a grease fitting). The OEM ones are toast(rust and corrosion, no grease fittings either). I'm thinking of installing the Chinese ones as these will allow periodic greasing and methinks they will outlive the Scan-Techs.
I have also bought a replacement bearing for the center support...made in Turkey, but supposed to be OEM quality. For this, I think I will go with the Scan-Tech kit from FCP Groton. And return the Turkish bearing.
Are we going to have to use parts made in far-flung countries for the Rear drive Volvos? Is this a bad thing?
gracias,
el Raidman
