1989 780 driver door replacement 700

Does anyone know the procedure to remove the wireing harness on a volvo bertone 780 driver door. Do you feed all the wires through or is there a wiring block that connects with just a single connector. Can someone please explain. I want to buy a new door at the boneyard and am confused about how I am going to feed all the wires out and then back into the new door..thanks......Jeffrey
