Crank Pulley Removal 200

I am about to change the timing belt in my 1991 245. I will have to remove the crankshaft pulley. There is a specail tool used to hold the crankshaft in place while you loosen the bolt that holds it on. I don't have one of those tools. Is there a good way of securing the crankshaft so the bolt can be loosened and tightend?

Are there any special considerations that should be made when one changes the timing belt(new water pump, tensioner, etc)?

Thanks,
John
